Please guys I really need your help.
This is the second time this has happened to me and I don't know how to avoid it now, I don't know what I'm doing wrong to get this result.
The first few times I extracted DMT it went perfectly. I was really nervous and had read that some people have problems but I was surprised at the end when I was looking at a great extraction with a large amount of sandy coloured crystals. I was so proud and felt a great sense of acheivement. But the last two times I've done it I've ended up with white slime. Last time the slime was among the crystals and I saved some, but this time it just looks like bird poo and not a lot of it.
So what am I doing wrong?
I use MHRB from Brasil.
I powder the bark, put 15ml of water per gram of bark into a thoroughly cleaned 4 pint milk bottle made from high density polyethylene then add 1.5g lye per gram of bark and 1g pure salt per gram. I shake this up and add the powdered bark, then shake again vigorously and leave for one hour.
After an hour I add 1ml naphtha (coleman fuel, none blue) per gram of bark and slowly rotate the container for one minute and leave to settle and I do this four times.
Next I siphon off the naphtha with a pipette and deposit into a glass jar. The jar is sealed and sent off to the freezer. I then continue the process four times until eventually I have four jars of naphtha sitting in the freezer.
The first times had solid sandy particles but now all I get is white slime.
Read my tek, I do not evaporate. I just extract the naphtha from the mix, put it into a jar and send it off straight to the freezer and then get to work on the other jars. No evap at all.
Is there something wrong with my ingredients list? Have I forgotten my original recipe and made a mistake here?
I really need to know cuz I'm wasting money here and very apprehensive to waste more.
A friends money went into this with me too, I've gotta tell him I've buggered up and lost his money.
Very sad and frustrated today Sad

p.s. It can't be the brand of naphtha, I used zippo premium the first times and it worked really well, then I tried swan but that was dirty as hell, lots of uninvited guests in the mix. Then when my first slime extraction happened I used zippo premium again and this is my first time using coleman.
Really need help on this...ANYBODY?

Your method seems fine.
It's very likely your bark is not what they say it is.Crying or very sad

This has happened with bark from two separate vendors. And the first few extractions were done with the same bark as the first slimey one (from the same bag).
It's not the root bark...my technique is fine. WTF...I don't get it

Bark can go off. Keep it in an airtight bag in the freezer, preferably under an inert atmosphere, e.g., CO2, nitrogen or argon.

“There is a way of manipulating matter and energy so as to produce what modern scientists call 'a field of force'. The field acts on the observer and puts him in a privileged position vis-à-vis the universe. From this position he has access to the realities which are ordinarily hidden from us by time and space, matter and energy. This is what we call the Great Work."

And how long would you say that could take to happen? I had mine for less than a month between fist and last extraction. First was a high yield, last was slime

Strange...your only variable is the Colemans...maybe change that first.
Check out the teks in my signature for comparisons. Smile

Maybe change that as well to something made of glass? Just to be sure?

I'm definitely leaning towards the equipment being a problem, perhaps over use or something. The coleman fuel is a changed factor but don't forget I had the same problem with zippo premium after it working so well for me.
I'm gonna move up to glass equipment and see how it goes from there.
I'm so gutted about this...really not feeling very happy today

You're possibly lucky you didn't smoke that. That should make you happy. I know it would make me in your situation. You'll always find new resources. Lungs are difficult to come by.

If the bark is old it could have degraded which seems like the only likely issue here. You might try some form of zinc reduction of any oxidised DMT in the extraction which could bring the yield up to par. That is if they actually work like 69ron claimed.
