Hello . i put my dmt drying on a plate . after 2 days it seemed dry . i made some changa and smoked it . it wasn t what i was expecting to be , didn t reach that lucid dream state i was used to . Just made me a bit numb . Later on , i tried like a triple dose and it hit me nice .
Do you think i smoked naphta ??

Well first of all you have not included much information to deduce anything. What makes you think you might have smoked naphtha? What ratio was the changa? Did the DMT smell like naphtha before you made it into changa?

the mix was 70% caapi , 30% peppermint . I added 30% dmt into it . i just feel weird after smokin it . i made like 3 bongs , each with 60 mg and didn t had that high i was expecting, just felt dizzy and numb. As i saw here in this forum , the teks used to make dmt , said at least 3 or 4 days drying the naphta at room temperature ... thought like 2 days may not be enough .
I think it just smelled like dmt !

ok so we have 70% 30% and 30%. so are you saying the DMT amount was 30% of a 100% which was caapi and pprmnt? Amounts in grams would make more sense.

Have you ever tried DMT before this?

Not to be rude or anything, but maybe you should consider some things: Be more specific in explaining this as other have mentioned, use evap tests prior to extracting EVERYTIME, to make sure theres no residue, simply apply some solvent on a glass dish or something similar and let it evap if you still smell it, see it, or feel a gunk then its no good to use.

I don't understand though why would you triple a dose of something you were uncomfortable with in the first place? Correct me if I'm wrong but your post seems to imply that you smoked it once noticed different thaan expected results and were afraid you had naphtha residue then tripled the dose to try again? Does your DMT look white fluffy and powdery is it semi sticky and just clumps together nicely? crystalline or powder? whats the color?

Also maybe you could explain your method of extraction was it straight to base, or acid base? Which tek you used, things like this would be helpful clearly outline any noticeable reactions in the solution you noticed during reaction as well maybe? did you filter properly personally I would assume after 2 days of drying it would be gone if the naphtha was pure enough but I always lay my powder under a fan far enough away to not blow it everywhere but to try it out well, and I spread it and cut/chop the crystals and powder with a razor every half hour or so, and Im usually done with the drying process within an hour or two by doing it like this as I said I chop my spice very fine to make sure it fully dries because it can clump together and form pockets where solvents could in theory stay moist and inside a clump of power. Similar to baking brownies when you have the powder chunks that are near impossible to break up without whipping it up like a hurricane with an eggbeater

the dmt seemed pure , few yellow spots , almost everything white , seemed sugar.

SOunds about right to me but obviously I can't judge purity over a computer based off text, do you have an accurate mg scale? or are you eyeballing the dose?

Can you please be more detailed in what exactly you are talking about? saying things like "although every time i did it, it went OK ! this time i made it same way" and "So, i wanted to know if i could get high from this , so i tripled it." and "did it because i wasn t thinking about the naphta already" ect is just utterly confusing, means nothing, and just sounds like you here to just "get high from this"

If you are asking a serious question please phrase it in a detailed manner explaining what you did exactly, and what exactly you are asking. If english is not your first language I apologize, if it is....................

my scale weights only decigrams. but i think i may have done the percentages wrong .
anyways , i think it dries in 2 days here in room temperature with the window opened, it's windy here.

How can you measure 60mg on a scale that only weighs decigrams?

1 decigram = 0.1.gram = 100mg and I'm assuming that your scale has an MOE of +/- .1g too?
