Hello,

some time ago, when i was only browsing dmtnexus i saw a forumpart only for identification or so, now i cant find it. Maybe its gone or im too stupid to find. So i post this here, if its the wrong place, maybe someone could move it.

At Rome ive seen a lot of plants with Mimose/Acacia like leaves, so i made some fotos, to identify them with help of you. Its not about harvesting them, more about knowing, what plants these are, beeing able to identify these plants also at other places.

At the time i did the fotos, the Albizzia julibrissin were flowering, so could identify them, and i think, none of the fotographed ones is an albizzia.

So here they are:

1. This one is living close to the earth, on steets and one desertlike ground:

2. Near Ostia in a privat garden:

3. The next one as well, it doesnt have the mimose leaves, but a albizzia/pudica like flower:

4. The next is from the botanical garden in Rome:

5. These two were in the botanical garden in the tropics house, quality is not good, but maybe someone can identify them; the second one is cut down, but at some points you see the leaves:

6. This one was outside at a place with a lot of mimose like trees. Some were fabaceae and had shields with their names and they all looked not so mimosalike.

7. The leaves of the next one looked a little bit like the fabaceae, but it had a strange colour, so i find it interesting:

8. From it i only made this not so good pic:

9. This lookes a little bit like one of the plants in the tropics house:

10. These are pics of 4 trees, but i think, they are all the same plant:

There is a place in Germany im sometimes. There in place called Kohren-Salis is a old garden. I heared there should be some rare trees. At some of my walks i met the old gardener, he lives at the garden in an pavillon of the 19th century and his son is now doing the job. I asked, if there are acacias, he said yes, but only usual ones (i dont know, which these are). They are supposed to have white flowers. I made some fotos of them. In a lot of countries i saw trees with leaves looking exactly the same, but most of the timei thought, these would not be acacias. Maybe i fotographed the wrong tree, he only said: behind the pavillon should be 4 and they have mimose like leaves. These were to only ones fitting.
So here are somefotos without flowers:

I know these are a lot of fotos and i hope its ok to post as much. I myself dont have internet access often, so i cant look for a long time on fotos in the net.

Maybe someone could look above it, maybe he see ony one or so fast, and ccould help me with that.

Greetings
