Separation of acetone/dmt solution from water/sodium carbonate via freezing? Options

Hi.
If the dmt was in a basic sodium carbonate solution and you added acetone to dissolve it then put the glass in the freezer so the sodium carbonate precipitates out and the water freezes.
Would this leave an acetone dmt solution ready to be poured off?

No - acetone is miscible with water. If you did as you suggest, you'd precipitate out sodium carbonate, but you'd have an unfrozen acetone/water/dmt solution.
