The people who figured out those teks have years of experience doing many other teks. Claiming they just don't know how to extract properly is not accurate. Those teks are based on the exact same priciples as all the other teks, and there are obvious advantages to using food safe teks with non toxic chemicals that you can buy at the grocery store..especially when the end product is just as good as something you might extract with xylene, not to mention that we don't have to suppor the petrochemical industry any more than we already do with something like limonene or sunflower oil.

I've had to clean up someone's san pedro (A/B) extraction which used sunflower oil and lime.
It was a mess, to say the least. It would be even more of a mess from morning glory or HBWR seeds, as they contain more complex alkaloids and ergopeptides.

I understand some people just prefer to seek 'nontoxic' alternatives, but it's pretty naive to think that it would work nicely with every alkaloid across the board. Ergoline chemistry isn't as forgiving as DMT and mescaline.

just because it was a mess doesn't really mean much to me. You can definatly get clean crystals using sunflower oil as a solvent. You just have to know how to clean it up after..and you can dissolve DMT in alchol after and precipitate with fumarates..at least one person has claimed to do fasa right out of veg oil..

I honestly cant tell the difference, in taste, appearance or effect between sunflower oil DMT, limonene DMT and xylene DMT when the solvent is salted with the same salt. The end result has been the same for me the xylene neither smoked cleaner or looked cleaner.

I don't know anything about ergoline chemistry which is why I wont address that.

yea, that's DMT.
mescaline has three oxygens, it's more polar than DMT, so it's going to interact more with the polar ends of oils than DMT would.
I had to work with a colloidal suspension. added lye to raise the pH (lime just blows, it doesn't dissociate as well), then pulled with xylene, and salted.
ergolines also have at least two oxygens. raise the pH the way you would with DMT and mescaline, and ergolines readily convert to inactive lumi-compounds.

if one just wants to make an ergine salad dressing rather than isolate it, then fine..use oil.
