yea, that's DMT.
mescaline has three oxygens, it's more polar than DMT, so it's going to interact more with the polar ends of oils than DMT would.
I had to work with a colloidal suspension. added lye to raise the pH (lime just blows, it doesn't dissociate as well), then pulled with xylene, and salted.
ergolines also have at least two oxygens. raise the pH the way you would with DMT and mescaline, and ergolines readily convert to inactive lumi-compounds.
if one just wants to make an ergine salad dressing rather than isolate it, then fine..use oil.
