Does anything need to be done to a stainless steel chore boy scrubber to make it safe to use as a screen in your vape?
Thank you.

it contains on it mineral oil that is used in the production process. This is easily (and cleanly) removed by soaking it in a solvent like acetone for a short period of time. Swish it around in it a little then set out to evap off the solvent. Then its good to go.

In the past I have soaked it in acetone for an hour to remove any latent oils, etc. Then I rinsed it and let it dry, then torched it until it glows red just to make sure everything is gone.

If one wanted to re-use the acetone that removed the mineral oils, how would one go about doing that? Wash with water?
Thanks!
