I've only been to a psychedelic jam-band festival that is very low key (maybe 2000 people), privately owned, and held 3 or 4 times a year under different themes. There is no police, unless they're needed... which really makes for a paranoia free and open environment. I'd love to go to some bigger ones with more of an electronic scene but so far I haven't had the chance, mostly since there isn't many of those nearby.
