Over the past few days I have been encountering a lot of praying mantises... strangely they are being really friendly like looking right at me and walking onto my hands and along my arms. I feel like there is a strong significance within these encounters, what do you guys think as I am really fascinated to hear your thoughts on the matter. Wink

insects are all buzzing around and zipping about and just so tiny and big and wonderful.

How do they form all those connections needed to simply move, eat, coupulate, and be so many beautiful colors, and be able to act like bioorganic machines of such perfection and functionality?!!?!

Beautiful creatures, great and small.

Indeed arthropods are incredible creatures... I came across some interesting information to do with mantises:

The praying mantis is the oldest symbol of God: the African Bushman’s manifestation of God come to Earth, “the voice of the infinite in the small,”* a divine messenger. When one is seen, diviners try to determine the current message. In this culture they are also associated with restoring life into the dead. “Mantis” is the Greek word for “prophet” or “seer,” a being with spiritual or mystical powers.

What is quite strange is I haven’t smoked spice for a few months now and after I made the decision to start smoking spice again the mantis encounters happened soon after. Truly fascinating I must say.
