Has anyone ever heard of DOC?

dont take it...lasts WAY too long..and after the first 20 hours you will just want it to end..

is this an actual chemical or some crazy mix pill? I've heard some scary stories but nothing of what the drug is and its effects.

That sounds bad! I don't even like LSD so much because I think that lasts too long

SWIM is actually a fan of long trips, SWIM just discovered it and was looking for experiences and how it can be obtained.

its a chemical that alexander shulgin worked with..that as well as DOB DOI and other long lasting phenethylamines...

and this isnt the place to get info on how to obtain DOB..this site isnt about that sort of thing..and i dont know why you would want to...SWIM has tripped for over two days with the DOx's its NOT pleasant..its abrasive..and uncomfortable..there are much better ways to get your jollies off...and if you accidentally take too much...you are in for one HELL of a ride..and its NOT fun..

SWIM was saying that he did not know how it was obtained in a chemical sense. As in, is it extracted from something like Mescaline or is it like LSD and transformed from another existing chemical.

Yeah... I think even when under the influence one has to think about what they would usually do. after 20 hours this is usually way past sleep.

Even at the young age of 24, I think I'm past the whole party until you're crazy thing.

maybe you should do some real research about the drug you are looking for...because you cannot extract DOB from a plant..its a synthetic drug..and this forum is not about synthesizing drugs..

but here is the synthesis..if you can follow it

SYNTHESIS: To a well-stirred solution of 1.95 g of the free base of 2,5-dimethoxyamphetamine (2,5-DMA) in 12 mL glacial acetic acid, there was added 1.8 g elemental bromine dissolved in 4 mL acetic acid over the course of 5 min. The slightly exothermic reaction was allowed to stir for 3 h, and then added to about 200 mL H2O. The cloudy solution was washed with 2x100 Et2O, made basic with aqueous NaOH, and extracted with 3x100 mL CH2Cl2. Evaporation of the solvent from the pooled extracts gave about 3 mL of a pale amber oil which was dissolved in 250 mL anhydrous Et2O and saturated with anhydrous HCl gas. The fine white crystals of 2,5-dimethoxy-4-bromoamphetamine hydrochloride, DOB, were removed by filtration, Et2O washed, and air dried. These weighed 1.7 g and had a mp of 195-196 °C. Recrystallization from IPA brought this up to 207-208 °C. Proton NMR spectroscopy of the hydrochloride salt in D2O gave confidence that the bromine atom had uniquely entered the 4-position, in that there were only two unsplit aromatic hydrogen atoms present, at 6.97 and at 7.20 ppm downfield from external TMS. -PIHKAL

This substance in particular has little info online. Googling "DOC" is too close to bugs bunny.

The chances of me wanting to use this substances or even coming across it are pretty much 0. I just get interested in reading good experience reports. All I can find on this stuff is reports from un-consenting sitters. Guess that's a bad sign.

google does take some common sense but if you know what your looking for chances are you can easily find it....

nearly 13 years ago SWIM got some DOM... wow... SWIM wishes more chemists where making these... they a re amazing...
walking was orgasmic... somatic experiences in general where amazing... it came in waves and the visuals where very interesting.

swim missed the boat for trying the semi legal out of the country made DOs... SWIM has not heard of any one getting them any more from over seas... they sound interesting...
