SWIM just got it and is going to test it with various things: glycerol + freebase.

ok, seems that freebase dissolves in glycerol pretty well, especially when heated. also found out that when heated in glycerol the freebase starts to vaporize.

damn, nothing happened, wasted maybe 50mg in the nebulizer mixed with glycerol and water

judging from that thread, it seems like you want to convert some freebase to either acetate or hcl (dissolve in acid, evap, re-dissolve in water, or solution of choice).

from what i gathered it seems it is difficult nebulize freebase quickly and efficiently enough (because you can't fit as much of it into a solution as you could with a salt).


also with this method you would not need to use any heat whatsoever.

however for the most part, there do not appear to be many people who have broken through with a nebulizer (which is not to say the task seems impossible), so you would be helping to pioneer this field, afaik.
