Hello folks! My friend has been out of the loop for a loooooong time here. He read something a while back, about soaking in straight vinegar, and skipping the crock pot method. He's got ~3lbs of MHRB that's been soaking in an airtight tupperware for ~6months. I know I read about a week is fine...hopefully 6 months is better! It's still wet, and never dried up. Go tupperware!
He is planning on straining this with a fruit press, then adding lye/water, naptha pulls, etc. Does this still make sense?
