I have attempted to make ayahuasca on a couple different occasions, but have failed. I recently made a brew that contained a 228 grams of yellow caapi vine and 40 grams of mimosa. Each 3x3 boil was acidified and reduced to a smaller amount. I Split it into five equal parts and I had my first real experience with caapi last night.

I drank about 45 grams of caapi mixed with eight grams of mimosa at 10:00 at night.

I was laying in bed waiting for the effects to kick in and I thought I wasn't going to experience anything because the hour mark had passed and I felt nothing but a little abdominal pressure from the brew.

It was 11:30 and I was listening to native american flute music trying to help myself achieve some visions. In the process, I had a lapse in memory and all of the sudden it was 12:05. I had horrible nausea and knew I needed to purge.
I ran to the bathroom with writhing nausea. After a few mins, I was able to purge and layed in the floor for a minute.

I got up and walked to my bed, feeling so much better after the purge. I could now feel the caapi running through my body. I lay down and close my eyes and start to see different blobs of blue moving on my eyelids. this is where the visions really start to take shape.

I saw a giant cave, that had a blacked out interior and a hawk perched on the top. Birds were flying out of the cave and I saw this as entering my mind, which is really what all my visions reminded me of. After entering the cave, I was in what looked like an observatory with stars and certain constellations.

These constelations were moving and I only recognized the constellation orion. They were spinning around my field of vision. I soon was venturing out into the stars and saw what looked like the center of the milky way galaxy. There was a cosmic explosion and these rifts in the sky started appearing everywhere.

I open my eyes to my room buldging and wavering and i can feel a pleasant sensation through my body, this is about 12:45. I began to hear a sustained clicking sound coming from behind me. I close my eyes and focus on the noise. From my right side I notice a flash of a mantis looking creature. Then forward is a congregation of figures discussing something. I believe if I had a heavier dose I could of conversed with this council.

I then experienced a trampling noise and saw a herd of buffalo running through a field. My music had subsided but I heard a growing, faint flute in the background that occompanied me throughout my experience.

I saw other minor things but nothing worth mentioning. All major effects subsided by 1:45 until i went to sleep i could feel the lingering caapi. I feel like it was an indepth look inside my mind. I am going to take a 60 gram caapi dose and 10 gram mimosa. I just brushed the surface out of fear of a bad trip; eventhough I have countless experience with salvia, mushrooms, lsa, and mescaline.

It seems my ayahuasca experience really took on a celestial meaning. It is as if my mind was connected with the stars

I don't have any oral DMT experience as of yet, but with smoked DMT I've looked up at the stars and watched the Orion constellation form into a movie of sorts. It blew me away because I'd heard of stories about constellations, but never thought I could watch one play out! Not that I could follow any sort of a story, but visually it was delightful and internally it was inspiring.

I think the mysteries that surround stars correlate to the mystical experience. We can percieve both; but to understand and explain their existence is a very challenging task!
