There is a mystery about saliva divinorums origin..

It seems funny that she is only found in ..[a small remote area]..high the cloud forests of a certain part of Mexico ..and it makes one wonder how she was born?

I played with the possibility that she was cross bred by ancient shamans with other plants of hallucinogenic quality's?

Then i considered the possibility that she [salvia D] may have originated from deep in a rain forest in another part of the world..?..[even africa?]

Then the funny idea.. that ancient aliens visiting the earth dropped a few seeds before they left?

Anyone else have any ideas?l

I hope you're joking with this one...

Take a look a the fantastic thread Notes on Salvia divinorum by Entropymancer. Pretty much everything by him is awesome - but salvia seems to be his raison d'etre.

EDIT: Dang dreamer042! You beat me to it.

At this time noone knows where or how salvia origionated.

Ananda Bosman claims that some curranderos said that they were given the plant by people from space or something..I dont know about that.

I dont remember entropymancer stating he knew where it came from Alpha? I really think that is something noone knows for sure at this time. Some people speculate that is it a hybrid of 2 other plants and did not origionate in the Mazatec region.
Long live the unwoke.

What? I never said he did... I simply linked his excellent thread which contains an exhaustive list of salvia resources.

(As did dreamer042)
