A few days ago I failed at an extraction and am going to try again real soon. The problem was the naphtha pulls. I have bought a syringe and will be using the needle to do the pulls instead of a spoon. However it would make a world of difference if I could use a glass jar and not HDPE, that way I can see through it and what and how much I am pulling. Then again, I don't want anything to shatter. What should I do?

I use quart mason jars (seem to be lying around everywhere!) for 50 grams of bark. I have has no problems with using the glass jars as long as you throw them away after the bark is exhausted. Strong basic solutions can etch the glass, making it more shatter-prone. Just put the jars in a big pot when theyre sitting and you should have all your bases covered. do NOT reuse glass jars...toss that shit.

...unlike the "blind leading the blind". we are more akin to a group of blind-from-birth people who have all simultaneously been given the gift of sight but have no words or mental processing capabilites to work with this new "gift".

IT IS ONLY TO THE EXTENT THAT WE ARE WILLING TO EXPOSE OURSELVES OVER AND OVER AGAIN TO ANNIHILATION THAT WE DISCOVER THAT PART OF OURSELVES THAT IS INDESTRUCTIBLE.
