i wrote this for family and friends, so they could have a quick, simple food-safe tek. but i thought i might as well share it with you guys too. it is essentially a Q21Q21/hippie salad oil hybrid.

Quote:
1. material is finely ground (or otherwise physically lysed)

2. minimal vinegar dilute added until mixture turns to sludge (1:3 ratio of vinegar:water) this sludge is then lysed (freezing/heating/sonication, acidity will aid this process)

3. lime (CaOH) or washing soda (sodium carbonate) is added at a 1:4 ratio of base:bark(you could do as much as 1:1, but that is an unnecessarily high amount of base. keep the sludge extra wet when using sodium carbonate)

4. d-limonene (orange oil) or vegetable oil added to the basified mixture, and stirred vigorously (color change should be apparent). this solvent is then filtered off and consolidated.

5.dissolve some base in water (not much, just enough to make sure there is no acidity, a tiny pinch is sufficient - if you know your water is ph 7 or above, this is unnecessary), and add this to your oil, mix, and separate repeatedly, until no more color change is observable when you "rinse" the oil

6. saturated oil is shaken with clean acid dilute (fumaric/citric/ascorbic/glacial acetic is preferable, though any clean acid works. vinegar will leave impurities at this point) multiple times (the first time with acid dilute, the rest can be just water, as once the dmt is converted to salt form, it is water soluble).

7. save, combine, filter (to remove trace amounts of solvent, so make sure you filter through something the oil will sit on top of, like wet paper towels), and evaporate acidified water to render salt crystals

8. freebase

nothing new, but i figured posting wouldn't hurt.
