Help needed with attaching files to posts

Well I've been here some time, but as yet haven't attached any images or text.
I have a woefully inadequate grasp of the basics needed to effectuate this task Embarrased

.

Could any kind soul tell me the best proceedure for attaching images/files with a post ?

When you are about to hit POST...check the box next to it that says 'Attach files to this post'...then hit Post and you will be taken to a page to upload your pic...when it is loaded...then hit 'Back'...DONE!

hmm, for me I have to press that button, then post me message. then go back again and press edit, then I can upload pics
