Hey everyone! I dont come by too often. Just busy with life, ya know? Anyway... I was talking about DMT with someone a few months ago. The person was talking about that they heard a story about someone who took DMT and went so deep in or a huge out of body experience that they never made it back. Now there is supposed to be a teather or something to pull you back. But this person who took it they never came back and when people found him, he was standing lifeless, like just a shell. I told the story teller it must have been from a movie. But he said it wasnt. Any thoughts on this? Heard anything on it? Is it possible? I personally dont think so, but you never know! Cheers! That sounds a lot like the rumor about how magic mushrooms are poisonous and that you trip because your being poisoned. Or how LSD eats holes in your brain. It's possible. But IMO is very improbable. Just in case someone reads this that doesn't know, both things about mushies and LSD are pure nonsense. I think Vovin already debunked this one with his "Rise of the Phoenix" experience report. Man if that aint gonna do it...I don't think its physically possible to be honest!

There have definitely been times where i've taken a high dose and been presented with two options.... Follow the entity through Door A into the brightest, most brilliant light I have ever seen. Or walk through Door B and exit hyperspace. or something similar. Basically given a choice to go to the deepest place i could possibly imagine, or GTFO of there. I've usually wimped out when given this option and chose to exit for fear that if i went into the light, that i would not be able to come back. I never actually beleived that i could go so far that i would be stuck in hyperspace, but it certainly felt like it when the option was presented to me during a trip. One of these times i will go through that door and see what happens. Coinci-Transcendentalism

The first question that comes to my mind is "how do you know he's stuck in hyperspace?" How about a coma or a vegetable. How do you know he even broke through? The fact that the story is that he broke through and stayed there makes it seem more logical that someone made up the story. If that had actually happened the story should go more like "dude smoked a large dose and never returned to consciousness" how would someone know that he went in deep or at all or even had an OBE. I agree, I don't see it as a plausible story. It sounds like the LSD rumour about how a friend of a friend of your neighbours cousin knew a guy who took LSD and thought he turned into a glass of orange juice. Since then he's been afraid he'd get tipped over... These stories are scare tactics. Follow the story to its roots and most likely you will either find that the guy doesn't exist or if he does, that his state can not be related to dmt. I'm with the majority here, most likely a rumor. These stories always happen to a friend of a friend (of a friend ..), it seems This is the time to really find out who you are and enjoy every moment you have. Take advantage of it.

Oh yes! This is all purely fictional!! This is just a story if anyone searched the googlies they will find a story of a silly idea.. Now back to our program. \/ \/ \/ Kobranek - I have not seen Vovins post, I will look into it, thanks! Moment of truth - that sounds awesome! Scary, but awesome. Maybe there is something more that is upon the guiding light, something you would never possibly know... Unless you stepped in. When doing so, just remember you are here on earth and you tell them to bring you back after they show you! Anrchy - I think you could think of it as suspended animation. Buy the guy was just a shell, no life left. just bazaar sounding! Enoon - hehe! Sounds like a type of ego loss thing, must have shook him! Wonder if it only stops at LSD, or maybe he stopped all doses of OJ too! It at least from a jug!! Nexulizer - grape vine thing... The circle of story, gets warped... Maybe. None of the details line up at all and the title of the thread is a complete misnomer. Based on the information available, I'd say it's highly unlikely that this actually happened at all, never mind through the use of DMT. You're telling a story that you heard about through someone else who's heard about it passed on from probably about twenty other people over the years and so there's no way of proving or disproving it. I'm pretty sure that, if something like that actually had happened, there would have been something online about it somewhere. Salt. A shovelful. When it blows, it stacks...

Salt. A shovelful. Well. The title is asking a question. Basically if anyone had heard of this. I mentioned I heard it from a friend (co-worker to be exact), not sure where he had heard it from. But it kind of shocked my intrest and I thought I would ask if anyone had heard about it. But you asume it was a tail handed through so many hands over time and got warped and can not trace its origin. Maybe it did, maybe it didnt. I was just sharing a thought, question, in hopes some else heard of this. Maybe some will come in and know what happened. Just maybe! *fingers crossed* Done: THC - LSD - MESC - MDMA - Shrooms - DMT / Want:Hyperspace travel - World Peace Respect, intention, meditation, inhalation, observation, analyzation, respect.

This happens to people with abnormal brain chemistry who've never touched DMT, on rare occasions. NO ONE HAS EVER DIED FROM SMOKING DMT! And I have never heard of someone being left permanently in the state. Don't mean to sound rude, but sounds like either crap, or what else were they on?

The tether is your brain eating up hyperspace, metabolizing it. I don't think it is possible to never come back, since this would require infinite amounts of DMT. Luckily we have a limited lung capacity and tolerance with DMT, so it is much safer than eating a 20 strip of acid just to see what happens. Not that I advise heroic doses of anything, for that matter. I would take Vovin's story as a cautionary tale. Art Van D'lay wrote:Smoalk. It. And. See.
