Sodium carbonate wash vs. re-x Options

I usually wash my spice with a sodium carbonate wash and it works good but I always loose some spice in the process. I've never done a re-x, probably 'cause I don't get properly how that cleans up your spice.

How do you clean your spice?
I have 3 grams of quite pure spice but I'd like to do one wash on it but am considering to try a re-x with hexane.

Should I do that or do the sodium carbonate wash like I'm used to?

No one here that has done a comparison?
I have over 3 grams of spice I need to clean.
I find the sodium carbonate wash to work good but it's a bit of a hussle.
I think I'll try a re-x now. Just don't have too much faith in it. Well maybe time to try that out.

I do a sodium carbonate wash right after I do my pulls then a partial evap and freeze precipitate.

Both methods work fine but I am happy with my results from the SC wash.
