Keep in mind that Open Discussion is by far the most active and frequently visited forum. If you want to contribute to a thread that is elsewhere, you can make a new thread in Open Discussion that mentions the other thread in the title. You'll be surprised at how in-depth your involvement can be at the New Member level. Make enough quality posts and you can be promoted pretty quickly.
