Benefits of growing crystals. Options

Fellow Nexians,

I have read the DMT Handbook and done searches for this but come up empty handed. Besides looking awesome, what are the benefits of growing crystals? Do they keep longer? Do they vep the same? Basically... why do it?

If anyone could shed some light on this for me, it would be much appreciated!

as far as i know it's only for aesthetic purposes. i could see the less surface area making it perhaps a bit more stable.

Recrystalising is a purification process. The pretty crystals at the end are a bonus, and a fun thing to experiment with.
