Hiya,

In preparation for my eventual first pharma trip I have a question for those in the know. Most posts I read detail mixing the harmalas and DMT in OJ. Is this necessary? Can I get results that are just as good if I gelcap my harmalas and dmt and take them separately? Is there something about the acid in OJ that is necessary, or is it just tasty?

thanks!

hello paulsage,

the acid in the orange juice changes the freebase alkaloids to salts(i think its salts).

this would be done in the stomach anyway, as its acidic, but it is quicker to do this before hand.

good luck with your pharma journey.

I mix the harmalas in lemon juice (think orange it's the same thing) mainly for two reasons:

1) i have find that the salt form works better for me than freebase for ingestion, i feel the effects almost instantly and i can take the dmt at the same time without waiting.

2) if you dont have ph strips and have used gibran tek to extract, mixing in an acidic drink neutralize all remaining lie, if there is any.

That being said, you will find that salt forms of harmala tastes very bitter, in respect to freebase which is almost tasteless.

Good luck and safe travels
