Poor Nephthys - on her way to the pet emergency hospital. Not sure what's wrong but she's not herself. Acting injured and confused - maybe a stroke. I don't know. Please send all your prayers and good wishes her way. She is the best cat ever and has thus far been a wonderful family member. Traveler even gave her her own icon in chat.

How old is she? Sad I hope the best for your cat. I've had two dreams in the past couple weeks that my dog has cancer and it really scares me. She's a big dog and she's 14! I wish our pets could last forever.

Twice this past year, two of our oldest cats (about 15 years old) were showing terminal symptoms. We feared kidney failure. But in both cases it turned out to be treatable situations and both cats are back 100%. So have hope! It could be something really minor.

My father in law will not take in a pet because he so deeply fears the attachment/loss aspect of such a relationship. But he is missing out... It is so, so worthwhile.

My best wishes and prayers go out to Nepthys.

I wish you and Nephthys positive and healing vibes! My dog is my best friend, I know how traumatic it can be when your pet is in poor health.

I wish you both much love and peace

I want to thank EVERYONE on forum and chat for their support and especially for their good wishes and prayers. It's like the entire Nexus was pulling for Nephthys.

I am very pleased to report she is 100% recovered. We are practically dancing with joy. It was a true mystery as all the blood work showed was slightly elevated white cell count - mystery infection or something. It hit her real hard. The fever made her stumble around and act super confused - very scary for us.

Anyway, like the entire Nexus was pulling for her and she pulled out and back into health.

Thank You Everyone!
