Medical sedative after Ayahuasca

Hey guys, I'm gonna be drinking ayahuasca and then potentially could be going in to hospital for a minor op 2 days later.
They will give me a sedative intravenously much like valium. The name of it ends in "pam" but I'm not 100% sure which one it is.
Anyone know if this is dangerous? From what I've read any MAOI activity will just make the sedative stronger. Also it will be 2 days later and I don't know how long the MAO will be inhibited after drinking. I'm just deciding whether to book the hospital appt or not.
Does anybody know anything about how long the MAOI is active in my system?
Thanks

Doesn't matter what "pam" it is. Temazepam, Lorametazepam, Prazepam, they are all benzodiazepines, and as such present no complications in relation to any MAOI activity in the B. caapii or rue that you would be taking. Also I think the type of MAOI in Aya is RIMA ( reversible) and doesn't ( to a degree) cause the same type of problems as irreversable MAOI, like tranylcypromine where even a glass of red wine or a lump of aged cheese could land you in trouble ( =hypertensive crisis)
I think it's a great idea to do Aya before a big thing like an OP. As the days after doing it put one in a very fine mindstate for facing all kinds of challenges.
Good luck for both events.

Can't you do the Aya after the op. It certainly makes sense.
