What's your preference? I've tried both. I've enjoyed both. I would say I got more color enhancement and whatnot during the day, but more true visuals at night.

In his book "The Hummingbird's Journey to God", Ross Heaven talks about never really having a "visionary" experience at night, that his have always been in the day. On the other hand, many of the oldschool mestizo shamans tend to do their ceremonies at night.

What differences have you noticed? What is your preference? I'm still not sure of mine, but I liked the visuals better at night I think.

As the peak might be close to 4-6 hours, one can enjoy both day and night time on mescaline.

The drawback of the nightime is that if you dose at dusk, you'd be expected to spend the night widely awake and sleep no sooner than 15 hours later. That may leave you jarred for an extra day or so while your circadian rhythm resets.
