i believe i read "the garden of eden" says that the flowers are indeed active, does anyone have experience, if this is the case then we have yet to harness the power of the flower Smile

Someone mentioned doing changa with em and i thin that sounds awesome, idk how much flower you have but if it not a huge amount i would try that.

When I have another flower with my Peyotes I will test it for actives with the TLC kit.

Snu seems very sensitive, some of the things he suggests as active give me little or no effect

mainly though, if you eat the flowers there is no chance of seeds!
i dont think fruits are active (trich or loph) as they are too sweet and yummy!

im curious if the alkaloid concentrations/ profile mimic that of the cactus they grow from or if they have unique properties that might synergize/ offer a different experience

It has been reported that the green tissue at the base of the flower is active, and bitter, in trichocereus. This is the tissue that becomes fruit, but the reported active flowers are aborted green ovaries, fruit is not reported active.
