It you were tripping hard then it wasn't really a failure, I would shorten the time between your rue and DMT, most people seem to take them 20-30mins apart. INHALE, SURVIVE, ADAPT it's all in your mind, but what's your mind??? fool of the year

harmalas hit within 5 minutes for me and many others..that is very odd that it takes 2 hours to kick in for you. Do you eat lots of heavy foods right before?..or do you fast? Both can prolong the onset. Long live the unwoke.

Both can prolong the onset. I don't eat before hand. I always fast at least 4-5 hours before I do it. I assumed it would hit harder and faster if you fast. So you are saying that fasting before hand can actually make it take longer? How long before you take the harmalas should you eat something? And what do you like to eat? I can't explain it, after I take the rue, I feel nothing for first hour and almost nothing for the next hour...but at the 2 hour point it kicks in really, really hard.

if I drink at night I just wait 3-4 hours afte eating..but sometimes eating some fruit after like 20 minutes or so can help kick it is. If you fast for like 12 hours though it can be even weaker for some..it is due to DMT getting bound up in the gallbladder I think..and when you eat something it empties and absorbs. This is why sometimes people come down from ayahuasca, and then come back up again later on in the night. It can be quite alarming. Ive had second peaks like an hour after the first one that were 4x as strong probly. Long live the unwoke.

Well, now that you mention it.....about 3 hours into it, I was just having basically a rue/haramala trip....but I got really hungry so I decided to have 1 slice of bread with a little bit of peanut butter on it....after I ate that....the trip got way more intense.

yup sounds about right.. You might want to take the DMT closer to the time you take the rue as well. Spacing apart that much makes it less effective. Long live the unwoke.

alright, thanks Jamie.
I'll take it closer together next time.....I just had this fear that if you didn't feel the harmalas, it would be totally wasted, now I know better.

well, I wouold assume that if you dont feel the harmalas yet, they have not digested..and if the harmalas have not digested than the DMT would not have digested...the harmalas in the gut though should still stop the DMT from being deactivated..I would just wait 30 minutes and then take the DMT and see how that goes. Lately I have just been taking the mimosa mixed with the rue but for a long time I was taking it 15-30 minutes after. Long live the unwoke.

That makes sense. Looking forward to trying it again.
I wish I could just take the mimosa, but I have tried 3 times and I cannot, cannot, cannot get it down. Not sure how you swallow it.

I haven't tried mimosa yet but I have problems with Chacruna. Perhaps I messed up the brew up a bit with the vinegar, but when I chug it I know for certain I'm swallowing 1.5 times the amount. Half the time I burp / gag up part of my stomach contents which I then dutifully stop from leaving my mouth and swallow back in. Hating that taste makes it sometimes hard work to get it down. But you do what you gotta do to trip The spice extends life. The spice expands consciousness. The spice is vital to space travel.
