Wow that's odd, in my somewhat limited experience with smoked bufotenin alone it seemed to be very trance-inducing and sedative but visual isn't what I would have called it; at least not compared to DMT? But then again the extract I had was somewhat impure, even though I did an acetone clean-up it was somewhat brown and oily, and only smoked up to 31 mg of this alone before throwing the whole amount into a changa blend with 1:1 spice and 11xcaapi leaf.
The harmalas really bring out the bufo! This blend gives instant bufotenine effects which are heavy, nauseous, and trance-inducing. This blend is the only blend I've made that induced true visions, similar but yet very different to ayahuasca visions. Dream-like. Of course the n,n-DMT still shines through and gives color and a bit of energy to the whole show... it's actually a very nice blend, if you have time to be totally out of the game for a minute.
I suppose I actually need cleaner bufo to make that judgement
