i have a half lb of black ayahuasca from k1w1b0a and am considering precipitating the alkaloids via bassification (its quite filtered and decanted)
or
evapping down and doing an alcohol extract on the tar to add to changa
thoughts?

perhaps evaping down and alcohol extracting the tar, then add water, bring to simmer (boil off alcohol), let cool and bassify to retrieve the rest of the alkaloids as a freebase

Is it possible to extract all the alkaloids in caapi this way? As far as I am aware there are a whole bunch of different synergestic alks besides the harmine, harmaline and THH.. So it would be a shame to lose those "other alks" And why do you look at the speck in your brother's eye, but do not percieve the plank in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, "brother let me remove the speck from your eye", when you yourself do not see the plank that is in your own eye?-Yeshua ben Yoseph

to extract Aya i would just follow the gibran2 tek, its easy and provides good results. INHALE, SURVIVE, ADAPT it's all in your mind, but what's your mind??? fool of the year

I never felt satisfied with my caapi extracts, rather just drink it and extract my harmalas from rue.

maybe theres a middle ground, like a caapi resin?

Caapi resin is good because once it's dryish you can dissolve it in a minimal amount of ethanol and make a nifty tincture that's great for a sublingual/oral usage. I'm sure you could drip some onto a bowl or something as well. Convert a melodic element into a rhythmic element...

thats the idea melcat ethanol pull from resin for full spectrum properties
