I don't know why I don't have "regular" DMT experiences. Sometimes I feel like, "I want to see machine elves like everybody else, damn it!" Even my 18-year-old son has a friend who smoked some spice, and had a profound encounter with some towering deities. (when he told me that, I pictured the tall Rasta beings at the end of "Buckaroo Banzai." Hee hee!)

Hey, I know there's no such thing as a "regular" DMT experience. But the stuff that happens to me is soo weird ...

Today is the last day of my long weekend. Tomorrow I have to work again. It took me most of the day to re-X and dry some spice. I had a wonderful dinner, then sat down to smoke. I put my favorite song on my mp3 player. After one big hit, I kept feeling like something was wrong. The music just didn't sound right. (I have listened to this song at least a hundred times.) It felt like I must have the L and R earbuds reversed. So I took them out, but no, they were correct.

Glancing down at my feet stretched out in front of me, I had a momentary flash that I had my shoes on the wrong feet. "Okay," I thought, "I know what's up here. My right-handed self has taken over again."

I thought of a clever way to sorta see if that was it. I picked up my lighter in both hands and threw it up in the air. In a blink I caught it --- with my right hand. (I am left-handed.)

Okay, I knew that test would only work once. But it was proof enough for me. It's not the first time.

The thing is, what the hell does that mean? I mean, really. Is it good or bad? Or what?
