Phalaris Brachystachys, is this enough? Options

I sowed some P.Brachystachys seeds a while back which didn't even look like they were gonna grow so I threw most away but kept some and looks like they eventually started growing nicely. So I have this small patch and was wondering if I can get *anything* out of it? Maybe by cutting and letting it regrow and combining the cuttings? Probably not but thought I was going to ask the forum before throwing them away again..

Not nearly, let it grow. If it can get established nicely then next year it will most likely get a lot bigger. Have patience Smile

Cutting back that patch will cause it to go prematurely to seed. You'll end up with a bunch of stems and very little foliage.

Ok well I've got another batch of seeds coming so it's all good. Don't have the patience to wait another year Very happy

how long did it take to get the grass that long? I am just wondering because I have some growing that is about 2 months old or so now and a few inches tall with nice thick fat blades..
Long live the unwoke.

Guys, does this look like P.Brachystachys to you? Very happy
It has really taken off, but I have doubts if this is even the right grass..
