Dear experts please forgive a newbie question. Is there a rule of thumb from molecular weight to estimate a vaporisation temperature for alkaloids [as free bases] without too much decomposition ? I need this to design some laboratory studies to expose fruit flies to biogenic amines and antagonists. Many thanks.

Idea - Manually find vaporization data for many alkaloids, chart the data and then present a hypothesis about MW and vaporization temp.
