I finally got the muster to do an actual pure powder instead of the changa mix, i load up 20mg and put the torch to the glass untill i see the powder melt into the screen 9 layers* Then i place the VG filter piece back on, apply flame over the mouth and gently inhale, i get the same amount of light fog as i do anything else i smoke out of it. So i load up another 20mg chunk and instead of melting i straight hit it with the filter piece over, and still get the same result, little to nothing in terms of fog/haze/vapor/ect... and a little to nothing body jiggle. Why is there so much liquid dripping through? How do i get a real hit unlike what i been getting? barrowingtime attached the following image(s): CIMG6068.JPG (2,042kb) downloaded 370 time(s).

I think for crystal a mesh made out of a stainless steel or copper ribbon-style scrubber is a better bet than multiple screens. There’s some good info here: https://www.dmt-nexus.me/forum/default.aspx?g=posts&t=8730If you are already getting good results from changa in the GVG you should be able to get decent results with the GVG and a mesh.

Of course it drips! Screens have round wire, you will need ribbon/mesh, such as stainless steel or copper scrubbers and make a screen out of that, about 3-6mm thick.

I'm experimenting with different materials, steel scourers/scrubbers put me off due to the taste (what is it i'm tasting? oxides?), but they work rather well, a lot of people use copper scrubbers, but i can't get these.
Just randomly i thought to use stranded copper wire, i stripped a screened wire, separated the (untinned) copper strands, rolled them up into a ball and jammed them down my smoking device, a very tight fit, but plenty of air flow, i expect even less dripping than with the scrubbers.

You burn off all the crap from the copper scrubber BEFORE smoking with it Take the torch lighter to it outside in a safe area, you will see the bad stuff burn and smoke right off of the mesh. Copper works amazingly.

What kind of steel scrubber are you using?
I have very good results with the volcano liquid pad, its made of innert stainless steel that is made for vaporization, I dont feel any taste from it. Its quite cheap, you can order it online. Try it out and let us know if it works for you

I wonder if a little bit of mullein stuck in between a couple of those screens would do the trick....just enough to soak up anything dripping like mad for the bottom of the pipe. yep, a bit of herbs on the bottom def does the trick, the only downside is that the herb's components will be also vaporized, so you'll have a bit extra vapor there depending on how much you put. If you just put a little bit, it shouldnt be a problem, though

Endlesness; I'm glad liquid pad works for you but for me it was a failure. You can order chore boy copper scrubbers online for reasonable price, for example on ebay. I have tried every method except ash and copper mesh works best, I prefer about 3-5mm thickness

You should try to find copper scrubbers instead of stranded copper wire. Copper wires these days are treated with lead in the industrial processing and are considered TOXIC to smoke. Copper scrubbers, on the other hand, are made of pure copper. You can order them on auctions sites, search for "Chore Boy". Even if you don't live in the US, they cost maximum 15-20€ with shipping and you have enough copper for a lifetime or two !

Multiple screens (5+) work just fine without liquid leaking if you follow the below procedure. Get a good torch and hold the thin flame just in the middle above the glass, while sucking. The carbide should get redhot on the top without touching the flame if you are doing something right. Once that happens breathe out, then inhale the vapor slowly until your lungs are filled. be sure the torch goes off properly as in less then ten seconds your serotonin receptors will be carpetbombed by dmt molecules. If you feel good about it repeat the above. blessed be all forms of intelligence

I use six screens only....the trick is to draw slow and steady. My only misfire was because I worked myself up to the point that I sucked too hard from hyperventilating. I can't find choreboy and don't want to order online...did find some albertsons brand but when I would burn off all the crap it wouldn't stop flaking off even after a solvent soak or two. Major turnoff...wonder if choreboy is a thicker more pure copper than albertsons brand?

Just soak it in acetone, no need to heat it(If your goal is to remove processing oils)

I'm gonna give my copper another go but this time soak with ipa instead of burning the bejesus out of it. Thanks tele!
