Let's say I wanted to buy some brillo or chore. I looked on walmarts website and saw scented brillo pads. I don't think that's what id be looking for. Can anyone help a brother out in this theoretical situation.

??? I use something like that as long as there's no soap present in the product. As well I like to red hot it with a torch while holding with pliers to burn off any coating.

Just make sure its not too thin, that it looks like cotton or hair. You want the thicker, chore boy or similar type pad. There is mucho discussion of the type on the gvg thread.

.... and be sure to heat it up before hand to burn off any crap that might be on it!
