I,m curious to those that have been working With this for a long time as in more than 2 years consistently. How have the effects of spice changed in your body over time ? Is it different than when you started ? As you progross with it does it feel more like an external experience or a projection of the self ? Do you feel any extended semi perminent physical changes in your body ? Has your body adjusted to the effects ? Good topic and one that has been discussed a few times if you wish to look some of the older thread up for some good thoughts. Id be happy to chime in and start a new thread as the search engine isn't all that easy to use IMO. Most certainly dmt has changed over the years. In some ways good some bad, periods of not being able to break through, periods of fearful journeys ext. When I started vaping dmt 4-5 years ago now it was very full of motion and had a landscape to it if that makes sense. I would see buildings or other worldly places at times. After a hundred or so journey's things changed. The dmt experience stopped having a horizon or landscape. It became enclosed. There would simply be a shape morphing in front of me with intelligence and this was when the real info started to come through but the travelling motion, and vastness of hyperspace closed in to a tight space. It remained that way for a long time so I eventually put dmt down for almost a year. I just kept returning to the same place to the same intelligent being that said it was the entity humans would call God. I had multiple meeting's with this entity and eventually had to concede that dmt was not going to change back. It was told to me that this was an achievement but it felt more like a punishment sometimes. Things didn't open back up for me until I began smoking changa. Now dmt has a whole new character to it and I much prefer the slower on set and controllable manner of haramala and dmt. The blast off to hyperspace became way too much for me after hundreds of vaped journey's I just couldn'y deal with it any longer. I think its normal and common for dmt to change especially when your using it frequently. At my peak I was vaping 4-5 nights a week 2-3 times a night. Maybe I over used it but I feel ok with my choices. Dmt has helped mold my understanding of reality and the mysteries of the big picture. I am honoured to have had the time working in depth with the molecule. I am not gonna lie, shits gonna get weird!Troubles Breaking Through? Click here. The Art of Changa. making the perfect blend.

olympus thanks for responding. I realize there have been alot of threads on how dmt has changed people. I'm just curious about the people that have been working with it for a long time and the actual physical effects that are different than they were in the beginning. I resonate with your post I'm wondering if after a while all roads lead to the same or similar place. Vaporized DMT and foremost ayahuasca has not changed any of my older or current physical conditions. The only difference I've experienced is with ayahuasca, when I begin using ayahuasca I would always feel very ill followed by violent vomiting, nowadays I feel a tad nausea for a couple of minutes but that's all. Instead what happens, is that after the trip I feel cleansed and take a giant shit, which (fyi) feels magnificent. Other than that I've gotten healthier, food wise, because of the mao-i diet. If something, the effects of DMT has grown exponantially to my use I'd say, it's quite phenomenal! Mad, bad and dangerous to know.
There's magic out there!

The experiences have changed over the years, but I'm not sure how much I can attribute to the material and how much to my state of mind. I have had spells of wonderful colorful breakthroughs, and then other spells of only running back into myself like looking in a mirror with nothing much more to see. I do think extractions from different batches make a difference, and I for sure think xylene extractions pull very strong additional substances from the bark which often lend to astoundingly dark and mystical trips. I'm much more over the pre-launch jitters and feel it a very sprititual ritual including the acceptance and less astonishment of insanity it brings on. Peace

Quote:How have the effects of spice changed in your body over time ? If you mean during being in hyperspace, then I have noticed less body load and that sound of the carrier wave doesn't come very often any more, I have learned to deal with the effects better, feeling less shocked when I go there. Altough it's still shocking of course to some point, especially the first 30 seconds. Quote:Is it different than when you started ? Yes it is, even when each time I blast off it's different at every point, but the beings and themes/visual background has changed, some matters from my answer above can also be applied to this question. I also have noticed that the more experience I have the less often I go back as I understand there is really no hurry with such explorations. Usually I do sessions 2-7 times in 2 months. Quote:As you progross with it does it feel more like an external experience or a projection of the self ? I have kind of always thought that it is both and the line between external and internal isn't always so easy to draw. Quote:Do you feel any extended semi perminent physical changes in your body ? Well maybe sometimes I can recognize something DMT like in dreams or even in media... Nothing noticeable. Quote: Has your body adjusted to the effects ?
Yes it has, the shock is much lesser, but it's still there. It isn't a stroll in the park at any point when I cross dimensions

I think that after a while less is definitely more Going less often seems like the natural flow after you reach a certain point . The only way of discovering the limits of the possible is to venture a little way past them into the impossible. Arthur C. Clarke http://vimeo.com/32001208

As time goes by, you learn how to work with this medicine. That is an exercise in change for starters. I find that every now and then I have an experience which is markedly different from those I have had before, and that marks a new 'chapter' of experiences. It constantly makes me re-evaluate, and I don't always feel up to that, so i have breaks. Over time these journeys have become deeper, more intricate, more personal, more intense and often (but not always) more mind blowing. DMT is more. This is your relationship with DMT blossoming and metamorphosing over time, and I believe it never stops. DMT doesn't let you get too comfortable, it is an agent of change and is therefore constantly in flux its self. this probably doesn't make much sense, but that is what arose when I thought about this question Lose Control, Free My Soul, Break Me Open, Make Me Whole."DMT kicked my balls off" - od3

Interesting topic After a year of weekly supplementation of the spice there have been drastic changes in results. At first it was more terrifying, a complete disintegration of conventional reality, not knowing what was going on, how to control it, if I would come back, etc...nor what I was doing in the first place. The interesting thing was that I wanted to try it agian... These days the results are just as unpredictable, however in a different way. Instead of blasting off and seeing things I have no clue how to interpret, I now get taken to parallel dimensions that are tangible. I've seen plants and odd creatures that I can not describe, but I'm able to walk among and interact with them. If you have ever seen the TV series 'Sliders' it is very similar. Dosage seems to play little to the end effect as I eyeball 30mg or so, never too sure, nor do I care. Every journey has something new to teach me, and every now and then I am put in my place with terror... Needless to say I am a completely different person from when I started. Still plagued by a few material vices, but getting there. I owe a lot to this and am very grateful that it found me. I've been a return visitor to a couple of these dimensions by the way, and am always happy to see and interact with them again, and I also keep a mirror close by because I like to stare and see the amazing tribal patterns that appear on my face at comedown. I will agree that less is more, and I have simply begun to listen to the world around me, and let nature tell me when to take it next... PS: If you have an automatic watch with a display caseback try to keep it close by for the comedown, and stare into the movement and contemplate 'time' while watching it tick away in your hands... it's worth a ponder

I've actually just past my two year anniversary with spice this past week. When I first started out, the "building blocks" of spice were a bit different. The stuff that make up the visuals gradually changed. The initial visuals were more plasma-like if I remember correctly. As I've progressed, it's become more and more externalized in perception. Open-eyed holograms began to more and more regularly work their way into my experience. The more and more I experimented, the more and more interactive, intricate and dynamic these holograms became. Like many here, after smoking DMT, I began to see entopic phosphene hallucinations particularly after smoking weed or waking up from sleep, but they're really there all day long (I often don't notice them), but they add a welcome color and detail to my everyday experience. Additionally it has allowed me to see the fractal makeup of the world. Initially I thought that I was simply having flashbacks of sorts as I would see the DMT-like crystalline patterns in the mist on the windshield or dirt on the floor or paint on the wall or whatnot. At the time, fractal wasn't even part of my vocabulary, but I only recently learned when watching a talk by a Ph.D on fractal geometry in nature that things like dirt and water and whatnot naturally arrange themselves in fractal patterns. I found this fascinating because it meant that I was actually recognizing the fractal nature of the universe without even realizing it. My ability to recognize fractals after witnessing such patterns on such a big scale within the DMT experience, and seeing those patterns "under the microscope" led me to the realization that I was quite literally "learning the world" around me. It became an opportunity for me to examine my own cognitive process. For the first time probably since I was a child, I had "learned" something experientially about the world for which I had no word, but that was always there. Especially once I acquired the word (fractal), I could label the phenomena as it cropped up ever and ever more. It was always there and always will be, but most people (especially those who never take psychedelics) simply will (for the most part) fail to be able to perceive these fractal patterns that exist objectively in the universe. I've also become more and more aware of "bio-magnetic" sensations. I've talked about these at length in a number of threads, and they've worked their way more and more into my DMT experiences over time, and additionally I've learned to conjure these same energies in meditation through breathing. Now they're beginning to pervade my everyday experience even without meditation. I may be going about my business, breathing, and notice that the energies may be flowing in and out of a chakra. I welcome this phenomena and its development wholeheartedly as it continues to color my experience and make reality ever more interactive and intuitive. "Science without religion is lame. The effects have changesd or I have have become more accustomed to it. When I first began I was scared often. I would launchwhile being close to panic. It was sensory overload for me. I have now had Hundreds upon hundreds of voyages and I now step up completely comfortable and confident. There is still allot of sensory overload but not to the point where i experience amnessia. I am able to comfortably navigate the wonderful world of hyperspace with no worries. When I first started years ago my breathing was messed up, I wasnt calm and relaxed. I would get loud alarm sounds when i launched, bells and whistles. Now I get a plesent hummmm/vibration that is the carrier wave. I am permanently changed in many ways..... Most good some not so good. But you know, when you pick pretty roses you are gonna get a few thorns. My body and mind have adjusted well. There have been some dark ours in my life due to DMT use, not so much any more. I feel I have synergy these days. Knock on wood ice houseIt feels like an internal experience! I've been at this for close to 4 years. Sensitivity has increased for sure..meaning I need lower amounts now (anywhere from 25-30mg dmt).
As far as the actual experience goes..well...no more entities or autonomous figures jumping into my perceptual field. Now its FULL IMMERSION into this gyrating, highly complex never- ending field of structured light. In and out and through, up, down and all around, completely enveloping. There's never a trace of me left when I go. EVERYTHING is left behind every time.
And the same message rears its head every time im there and it's this:
"YES..THIS IS IT"
