Alright, the title isn't all that appealing, but I was feeling urban. My question as a spice initiate... does anyone else have experiences where they SWEAR they can smell spice even though there is none around? For instance, I'm at work (no it's not a DMT factory) and about 5 minutes ago I got a whiff of spice as though the hot, smoking GVG were right in from of me. I too get this. Especially after my first extraction I could smell and taste it everywhere. Now 3 months later not so much. But I used to smell it in green veggies, leather and on my breath and many other places, even when I thought about it. Seems like maybe we are actually smelling "dmt is everywhere". As snozz pointed out, any molecule that has an indole back bone will smell a bit like DMT. This is found all over the place.

They say burning jasmine scent helps your dmt trip. It is a indole! :-) Done: THC - LSD - MESC - MDMA - Shrooms - DMT / Want:Hyperspace travel - World Peace Respect, intention, meditation, inhalation, observation, analyzation, respect.

I catch strong whiffs of it near the detergent aisles in markets well as coming from some ambiguous source in a few restaurants I've worked in. I know nothing about the chemistry of household cleaning products (or kitchen ones for that matter), though it seems that these tend to be near by when I catch a smell. Considering indoles are frequently used in fragrances, and detergents, soaps, cleaners, etc are mostly heavily scented, I can definitely see a logical connection, "If you want to know where you are, ask the Nonlocals"
