Severe sweet tooth after DMT experience? Options

SWIM tells me that after his last couple of DMT experiences, he's had a relatively strong sweet tooth, and a craving for candies. He's not sure if this is normal.
Nanaki, of course is a fictional video game character. He never does drugs that would alter consciousness. He only thinks he does.

This is quite interesting. SWIM's FOAF remembers this funny rumor basically stating that in order to ward off a trip (mushroom or lsd) you have to eat plenty tablespoons of sugar. And he's seen people eating loads of sugar by the end of the trip just to clear-off and sober up.

Dunno if it really has an effect; it is however similar to the sweet cravings mentioned above, so there seems to some correlation between ending of a tryptamine trip and sugar ingestion.

Maybe the brain requires some fuel to wake up and gather itself together again?

When you smoke dmt puts your body into fight or flight mode and sugar stocks are used so i guess its just your body trying to replenish its supplies.

Ayahuasca goes way WAY beyond fight or flight. Losing one's mind for a moment, no concept of going anywhere, but in true LA LA land, and extreme body load, mentally squeezing.

But it makes sense this sugar thing. His cravings are not as strong now for it. He usually never eats sweets. But he went through like 6 minipacks of skittles and a few ounces of chocolate.

Of course! Very happy
I should have been more specific, DMT ingested in ANY method, after a certain dose initiates the fight or flight response.
Its a known side effect, Rick Strassman documented this. Smile

yeah.. thats why they served a meal after the sessions were over. aaah.. food.. the fruit of our dimension! Pleased

did you ever notice just how good everything tastes after a good hyperspace journey? a friend of mine always pops a few bricks of pure dextrose before he launches. he said that this helps him stay alert during the trip and afterwards.
I am the Lorax. I speak for the trees. I speak for the trees, for the trees have no tongues. And I'm asking you, sir, at the top if my lungs.. (all posts are fictional and are intended for entertainment purpose only)
