Hi everyone my friend is going to do his first extraction- using Viridis
He is following a tek by 69ron - He wants to make sure he is going to do it correctly. This is what he asked me.

"
A- Cover the leafs with water add white vinegar? and boil for 15 minutes, Pour off water and save it
(the vinegar should bring my PH to what exactly?)

B- Add more water boil for 15 min, pour off water and save it
C- Add more water boil for 15 min, pour off water and save it

D- Filter the combined water and boiled it down to a small portion.

E) Defat 5 times - using naphtha..
(ok , so I have my filtered water then I add 1/4 of it's volume in naphtha then stir it and wait till fat gathers on the top , then with a turkey baster I suck the fat that is gather on the top and discard it?. I do this 5 times? I don't ever heat up solution of naphtha for this process?)

F)Adjust the P.H to 9.5 -
(Should I use P.H Up from General Hydroponics(I have this) or go buy Walgreens clean ammonia all purpose cleaner?)

G) extract 3 times with Naphtha
(add naphtha and then where is the dmt and naphtha going to be in the top layer or bottom layer? ) In this step I discard the water using the turkey baster and keep the naphtha solution that hopefully has the dmt?

H) Evaporate the naphtha completely at room temp.
(how do I do this? here I slowly boil away the naptha? Is this the most dangerous part because of the chances of the naphtha catching fire?)

I) I am suppose to have dmt after naphtha evaporation-
(is there another step I should do after? or is it ready for smoking at this stage?)
