I had a nice thought the other day. while discussing the topic of dmt with a close friend i came up with an idea. its not something im sure id like to go through with yet but its a nice thought.
Plant a mimosa hostilis tree somewhere & at a later point in life, maybe 15 years or so, come back to the spot & get a small amount of root bark for extraction. this would be a nice find for a fellow traveller considering these trees are not native to the U.s., and unless your into dmt, your probably not going to recognize the potential for such a tree. kind of a help someone else out in the future while i also help myself out type thing. Very happy

Funny, we planted two of them 15 years ago, collected the seeds while out riding bicycles. The tallest one is a good ten meters now. They're not native to the US but here in the hot humid Shawnee forest they thrive.

At the time, we knew nothing of their alkaloid content- just planted them because they looked cool!
