Well I have to say, it was really refreshing to hear that perspective. the guy sounds very wise and pulls no punches when it comes to the downfalls of the Church. Shame there aren't more people like him about in the clergy eh?

I'm still not going back to Church though...

I think this man is amazing. Coming from a position of being a semi-reformed angry atheist (I would call myself an anti-theist), I find it very refreshing that someone can put forward Christian theology in such a rational and inclusive manner.

Are there any others like him with stuff online?

Now if we can just get the fundamental christians to wake up and quite all the damn hating we would actually get somewhere.

BTW Nice refreshing perspective...give me some hope.

If your religion, faith, devotion, or self proclaimed spirituality is not directly leading to an increase in kindness, empathy, compassion and tolerance for others then you have been misled.
