REPORTAnyway, I lightly lit the tobacco so there was just the tiniest ember, and already I knew I was getting DMT vapour, all I could taste was tobacco but I got this thick sharp feeling in my lungs that no other smoke has ever given me. I inhaled but I couldn't inhale as deep as I expected to be able to and soon I had to back away from the pipe, I then held the smoke to a count of 30 (quick count, so about 15 seconds, 30 seconds would have made my lungs explode hah) and exhaled. I felt a distinct change, something felt off, but I wasn't quite sure what.
Next up I got my second hit, same method, inhaled deeply, which was very painful this time, and a little of it got exhaled immediately but I held the rest in for 15-20 seconds, before exhaling. While holding it in I could feel the effects getting stronger, the objects in the room began to shift and move, and I could hear a buzzing sound in my ears. Things started to twist around and colours seemed a bit off, like the world was folding just a little and the hues were broken.
So I took a third toke, long and slow, I vaporised. (McKenna ref there if you missed it

) As I inhaled the smoke the whole room began pulsating and the buzzing got louder and louder, I thought I was about to be sucked out of the world. I remember looking around and everything seemed almost like the cartoon style rotoscoped images in films like A Scanner Darkly, with a focus on basic colours rather than intricate detail.
Nope, still not sucked into an alien world, so hesitantly I took the pipe again, took one last toke, and held it in. I felt it difficult at first but suddenly I couldn't feel my lungs so it was easy to hold it. I held it for 30 seconds, and the room became vibrant and alive, I exhaled, put the pipe down, and laid down in bed.
I closed my eyes and zang, I was projected forth into this fractal made up of thousands of interlinked petals, of shades of purple and green mostly, with a little red and yellow in the forms of lines surrounding them. I could see writing and shapes, and little dancing things moving about.
This continued to pulsate, and then I remember feeling some kind of alien presence. I couldn't hear it, I just knew it was what was guiding the imagery. So I said "Hey, thanks for letting me see these cool images, what else can you show me?", so with that they showed me this huge pink elephant, the outline was kind of like the outline in:
this image - so I said "Cool elephant", and then I was drawn to a bird of some kind at it's trunk. I said "Nice owl", but I felt as if the entity was saying "No", and then the bird became colourful and I realised it was a parrot.
The parrot was looking up at the elephant and teaching it something, "What's it doing?" I asked, and with that hieroglyphs began to float out of its mouth towards the elephant. "It's teaching the elephant language?" and with that I felt like the aliens were clapping that I got it right.
I then watched them show me more egyptian imagery and more of the same hieroglyphs, and I asked more and more about it, until the aliens, through ways of their own that are pretty much indescribable, explained that it's through the help of these mind expanding tools that the egyptians developed their system of hieroglyphics. This intrigued me and I asked "Did you help?" and they just seemed to find that very amusing, either as if it was obvious, or as if it was the most stupid assumption.
Shortly after this the imagery reduced to dark murky images, I could see interesting patterns and shapes but I felt the entities were unable to really show me anything in depth any more. So at this point I asked them if there was anything I could do in return for them, and they showed me a picture of my girlfriend's face, and my phone, and made it clear I should let her know how my experience went.
So I opened my eyes. The room seemed visual but I felt almost completely sober aside from the buzzing that I seemed to attach to the presence of the entities. I got my phone and told my girlfriend about the experience, spent time talking to her, and just a couple of moments later the entities were leaving and we said our goodbyes.
I went back again later that night but didn't get quite as far. I think for my next attempt I'll try to get ~25mg or 30mg in one go, as that would surely send me deeper into this place, and deliver a real "breakthrough"
