Hello Nexians, I was wondering last time, because, Ive read in lot of sources that the full-MAO-inhibition dose of syrian rue is approx. 3g; but there are huge differences between each sort of rue, for example: I've bought Rue on MH-UK Ethnobotanicals, where Vendor wrote "it contains 2% of harmalas". It is quite low concentration, worst - it is lowest I've ever read (2-6%). If someone has recently something in common with this seeds, could you write somethin bout it's efficiency? I want to be sure of that, till this time I am using Moclobemide as IMAO and I'm impressed . 300mg at t:00, then at t:50 DMTcola with another 150mg - mindblowing

Yes 3g is used.
If extracted via manske tek, 200mg of extracted harmala can be used.
It contains anywhere from around 2-6% alkaloids, yes.

Yes, right, but you're contradicting yourself - look, 3g x 2% = 60 [mg] of harmalas, so.... it is no 200mg. If there was 6%, would be right (180mg) how is it work? Isn't it so simple as maths? Do you know MH-UK Rue sort?

Technically even 100mg of harmine is enough to inhibit the MAO, we just say use 200mg of alks as a general rule because extractions can be dirty and contain other impurities weighing them down.

I personally don't have experience with the rue you are referring to, but rue is pretty consistently around 5%, and there's no way of knowing for sure unless you extract or try it yourself really. Alk content can vary depending on batch, shipment, season, vendor, etc...
