I find that when looking at it, it suggests many open ended thought patterns thus increasing alpha wave and creativity ie. is the figure moving away from or towards the light, over the horizon will there just be another further peak to cross, A little poem I recall goes like this,
hugggt hummm....
THE BRIDGE BUILDER

An old man, going a lone highway,
Came at the evening cold and gray,
To a chasm, vast and deep and wide,
Through which was flowing a sullen tide.
The old man crossed in the twilight dim-
That sullen stream had no fears for him;
But he turned, when he reached the other side,
And built a bridge to span the tide.

"Old man," said a fellow pilgrim near,
"You are wasting strength in building here.
Your journey will end with the ending day;
You never again must pass this way.
You have crossed the chasm, deep and wide,
Why build you the bridge at the eventide?"

The builder lifted his old gray head.
"Good friend, in the path I have come," he said,
"There followeth after me today
A youth whose feet must pass this way.
This chasm that has been naught to me
To that fair-haired youth may a pitfall be.
He, too, must cross in the twilight dim;
Good friend, I am building the bridge for him."
One can never cross the ocean without the Courage to lose sight of the shore

This is sweet, 1988 wow.

It is crazy the different styles of paintings that have been created through time.
"You are an explorer, and you represent our species, and the greatest good you can do is to bring back a new idea, because our world is endangered by the absence of good ideas. Our world is in crisis because of the absence of consciousness."

What a beautiful environment you create with this peaceful vision. The whole atmosphere just breathes and dances with a living vibrancy, which makes one want to jump right in and enjoy the magical vibe. An excellent painting, Iain1. Please share more of your work!
There is no self to which I cling, for I am one with everything.
