http://www.thisman.org/history.htm

The first time my wife showed me this I got a sick feeling in my body. This face looks so eerily familiar. Shocked

Have any of you ever seen this man in your dreams? Or even got a weird vibe from just looking at it?

No kidding.Laughing But his face creeps out. I don't like looking at it but at the same time it's eerily fascinating.

i have not seen him,

I look like that if i don't shave my head and do shave my beard, though my eyebrows are just a bit less bushy. If someone saw me for a moment and then drew a photo it could easily look like that, but i doubt that i appear in dreams.

but then my face is a bit longer too, not so squat...

It is not uncommon for people to approach me and say i look familiar or ask if they had met me before... i guess i look a bit like this guy, also it looks a lot like my father when he was younger

if i shaved my beard and grew my hair out (i have thinning hair)
i would look a lot like this:

Sort of reminds me of Max Keiser, the financial pundit.
"'Most men will not swιm before they are able to.' Is not that witty? Naturally, they won't swιm! They are born for the solid earth, not for the water. And naturally they won't think. They are made for life, not for thought. Yes, and he who thinks, what's more, he who makes thought his business, he may go far in it, but he has bartered the solid earth for the water all the same, and one day he will drown."

— Hermann Hesse

it is pretty generic, there is a film called "this man" under production and the whole thing is linked to an advertising company...

it is likely just a marketing scam, a brilliant one

once it began then people did start dreaming of him, because all the suggestive elements are there, the mention of dreams, the face, etc. Flyers across the world...

Maybe he is the mayan god who is going to come and fill the oil wells and repair the ozone hole?
just kidding, 2012 is as much a joke as this

You may be right about the marketing scam, it makes sense. Still, the face is familiar and creeps me out.Laughing

As for 2012, I don't know. I don't think it's a joke, maybe over-hyped, but there are too many synchronicities for me to dismiss it, but this is off topic so I don't plan on getting into it too much here.

Is that the dream man from Twin Peaks? If so, yes.

Does he speak in your dreams?

I never followed the series, so I don't know.

I have never dreamed him, but apparently he speaks to some people.

My thoughts exactly Laughing
"Science without religion is lame. Religion without science is blind" - Albert Einstein

"The Mighty One appears, the horizon shines. Atum appears on the smell of his censing, the Sunshine- god has risen in the sky, the Mansion of the pyramidion is in joy and all its inmates are assembled, a voice calls out within the shrine, shouting reverberates around the Netherworld." - Egyptian Book of the Dead

"Man fears time, but time fears the Pyramids" - 9th century Arab proverb

I've never seen him, and I'm not sure what the phenomenon is. I think its more likely that he just is a generic looking person and people are ascribing it to be this guy when it could just be they remembered the dream that way. Dreams fade quickly and unless you think about it right after you wake up, your mind can easily fill in details in dreams that never happened.

That looks like Wallace Shawn from My Dinner with Andre:
