SWIM frequently has a lot of brown jungle mix that I normally just pour down the drain.

My logic was: it's got a ton of drain cleaner in it. Therefore it's fine to pour down the drain.

But is it?

Your logic is correct. Just make sure all solvent has been evaporated or burned off safely before cleaning your pipes.
