Hey Guys,

Happy Thanksgiving!

For me Thanksgiving is about reflecting back on the past year (and life in general) and thinking about what im grateful for. The past 6 months for me have been very difficult, (for things i dont want to discuss right now) but i know things could be a lottttt worse. Im grateful to be spending the day with friends and family, eating and drinking some wine.

Im thankful I just started a new job a few weeks ago, and Im going back to school for the first time in 8 years too! Im very excited to look back on the passing year, at this time next year (2012) Wink

What is Thanksgiving about to you?

Hey there have a wonderful day!

Imagine all the turkeys sacrificed for our enjoyment and sleepy full pleasure! Let us rejoice in the fact we teamed up with the natives and destroyed them. Now we have vast fields of the Turkey Engine funding the holi days. Let us feast as if there is no morrow! Let us remember our grim past and twitch at the notion at how things have changed! Bliss + Ganja Gravy

We are all well aware of the negitive aspects in the history of Thanksgiving. And I don't like it any more then you House. I try to focus on the brighter side of things. Its just another fake money making Holiday that has def been twisted. But im going to make the best of it. There are family members that I havent seen in months and look forward to catching up with them.

my biggest thing right now is that I'm grateful to be alive. I'm really happy that I'm having this fun experience. hope all have some good food time

I was going to start a similar thread. Have a good Thanksgiving and... Give thanks to the wonderful tryptamines that have given us lucky few the perspective to appreciate reality and all it's marvelous facets. Peace my friends; I love you all.
All these posts are on behalf of Stimpy, my yellow bullhead. He is an adventurous fish, and I feel his exploits are worth sharing...so much so, I occasionally forget that HE is the one who does these things. Sometimes I get caught in the moment and write of his experiences in the first person; this is a mistake, for I am an upstanding citizen who never does wrong. Stimpy is the degenerate.

the commercial aspect and the history of Thanksgiving has means nothing to me.

Thanksgiving is a celebration of the end of harvest and the beginning of the cold and dark period also known as winter.

Thanksgiving is a wonderful day of gluttony, as well as an opportunity to reflect and rejoice, laugh, sing, and dance! oh and most importantly, love.
