Okay so swim did a good few naptha pulls on his mhrb stb bottles and got good yeilds a bit yellow but good none the less - then swim added xylene to pull the remaining spice and jungle out. there was still a small layer of naptha when the xylene was added - a short room temp pull was done and the xylene evapped (fasa from now on) when the xylene was pulled some was left to avoid sucking up any lye water - a pippete was used.
Now on top of the lye water is some naptha and some xylene - the naptha layer is slightly smaller than the xylene layer and it is like - white - almost, just a bit of an off white - kinda milky looking - swim is sure much spice and jungle is left - uite a lot - is this the spice showing up because on the freeze precips the naptha first goes milky too.
also a uestion iv asked in 2 places is - going the fasa route - if swim were to do so with xylene will jungle fumarate drop out with the spice fumarate, if so how can the 2 be separated, the intention is to convert the fumarate back to freebase form.
