BLAB step 6c - conversion needed? Options

I just did a little experiment (in this thread) and it seems that evaporated DMT-acetates in vinegar can be dissolve straight into acetone and I bet could be evaporated on herbs very well.

Another thing that I've heard being done but since I don't smoke anything herbs personally I haven't tried is evaporating vinegar (containing DMT-acetate) on herbs for changa. Another alternative to the process in the BLAB right now.

I'd like to have the first experiment replicated to make sure before asking for the tek to be altered, any volunteers?

The 2 teks use non-toxic lime and vinegar and Tek 1: d-Limonene or Xylene or Tek 2: Naptha to produce very quick high yields with the greatest of ease.

Ive tried your acetate evaporate-conversion and it never worked well for me. It still smelled weird with a touch of vinegar even after very long. Ive used two different white pure vinegars. Maybe with pure acetic acid it could work better.

Amor Fati has mentioned in another thread how after a few times of vaporizing the acetate evaporation-conversion product, it felt somehow strange, with a sickening taste. Unless it is tested analytically, its hard to know what impurities are left (and how much this depends on which vinegar people use around the world), and most specially for those smoking and not vaporizing, the pyrolisis of the potential extra compounds might make this even less safe.

The BLAB tek conversion is another alternative method that wouldnt have certain of the unknown issues of the evaporation (and if youre anyways using acetone with your method for infusing the herbs, the only difference is the sodium carb before, which can be easily found and for cheap). Personally I preffer working with fumaric acid anyways, but vinegar has the advantage of being easier to find. Anyone wanting to extract should anyways read up on different methods and decide what works out better for them

Fair enough. I might try the vinegar->evap->acetone->evap on herb during my next extraction and if it works well then add it to Q21Q21's tek.

I know that you posted the issues with evaporating the vinegar but I really advise giving it 1 more try and maybe doing the acetone step after. I used to focus on removing the smell completely but I don't know if it really ever fully leaves. Plus it definitely lingers in the air for a while.

Anyway, doesn't matter too much.

Cheers
