What drives me nuts is when posts are written in the passive sense. "Then, someone may have added NaOH" ... Did they or didn't they already!!

Someone who is me, loves talking in third person.
Especially my pet human named John.

John once said to me: "John really loves acid, but John doesn't know wat do"
Alice said, "Well John, maybe you need to extract or synthesize D-Empty.
John was surprised, and ecstatically said, " You're a genius Alice! John is going to do just that, and John is going to produce
magical snowflakes, and JOHN IS GOING TO DO THEM.

Pardon my typing, my head is in a real messy mind-state. Darn Zolpidem Tartrate.

Yeah, on one of the chemistry boards I used to frequent we said SWIM = "Someone Who will be Incarcerated Momentarily". Its use was frowned upon there so I've never used it on other boards either.

i must admit i find the swim thing very distracting and annoying and i dont read posts when the poster uses this ridiculous word over and over. the only thing worse is when users try to get funny and talk about "my friends cat", "my dogs fleas said..." blah blah blah. Rolling eyes

does anyone else not read swim usage posts?

I am not gonna lie, shits gonna get weird!

I actaully tend to not bother reading a post when I see SWIM 10000 times over either. Something about it, I dunno...
Long live the unwoke.

Dont even process the thought, and perhaps just let others present themselves how they would like to over this sort of media. Who are we to say different>? Each to their own. Its their own choice at the end of the day that they will have to live with.
"Some thing interesting"
