I apologise if having this thread in this section is frowned upon, the LSD topic page wouldn't allow me to post a new topic.

As for the topic, my LSD trips generally last a good 12-14 hours, my friends and I spend all night enjoying the hell out of it, and this weekend we are going a little harder...
What I'm doing, is putting together a playlist. I want to know if anyone has any input, I want atleast 9 hours worth, so far I have 2 and a bit.
The kind of artists I have are Abakus, Aural Planet, and an un-named artist that uses "Pure Goa".
This is the kind of music we're interested in travelling with, ambient, psychadellic etc.
Love your input Smile
P.S, if a moderator sees this and needs to move it to the LSD section, that would be appreciated Smile
Thankyou.

lol benz <3

A few of the moar chillout/ambient dubstep artists I enjoy are: Vaccine, Forensics, and Mt. Eden

a couple record labels you might look into that focus on the ambient dub:
Deep Medi Music
Echodub

If your not so big on the wobbli dubstep perhaps the psybient genre would be moar up your alley?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Psybient

There is also this nice torrent pack that should have moar than enough psytrance for all your brain wobbling excursions.

Here's a good list of artists that are quite similar to what I think it is you need:

Tripswitch
Kilowatts
Ott
Entheogenic
Kuba
Kickbong
Sushi Club
Bluetech
Shulman
Gaudi
Adham Shaikh
Pitch Black
Carbon based lifeforms
Ishq
Aes Dana

There should be plenty in there to keep you going Smile

P.S. Ever heard this track by abakus?

One of my favourites Smile

try these:

Pink Floyd: Ummagumma (the live album)
Ozric Tentacles: Strangeitude
Ship of Fools: Close Your Eyes, Forget The World

especially the Pink Floyd album. those four tracks are the perfect accompaniment to the death-rebirth experience.

Soulfood has listed most of the stuff I would suggest.

You could also try:

Shpongle
Younger Brother (although I wouldn't recommend their latest album)
Future Sound of London
Androcell
Slackbaba
Infected Mushroom

..this was an acid dancefloor (original goa) classic back in '94
The Infinity Project - feeling weird
featuring Raja Ram now in Shpongle (along with the very talented Graham Wood & Martin Freeland), the track was inspired by first smoking DMT..
(3 minute point is cool!)

this is a classic too The Infinity Project - stimuli
engineered by Simon Posford c.1996

oh, & here's their all-time DMT trackego shredder, also engineered by Posford c.1996

Most zappa albums are great fun to listen to on acid.

On average there is this simple rule for listening to music on acid: Your 'inner ears' adjust to whatever you're listening to so if you listen to music that is very loud and rhytmical, anything that is melodic will sound weaker and less energetic. Listen to softer music first and play louder music after the peak.
