Extracting morphine from seeds would be not worth the effort as the content is miniscule;if you have the seeds then you know what needs to be done!!
Getting the morphine from raw opium is a straightforward business and is superior to raw opium for several reasons:
1.Less constipating;
2.Easier to kick than raw opium;
3.Takes alot less time to use morphine for the desired effect rather than vaporising opium-which takes a LONG time with the pipe to get an effect anywhere close to that of morphine particularly if you have a tolerance;
4.More direct in its effect.
The downsides with morphine are:
1.its more nauseating than raw opium;
2.Much more likely to cause itching and urticarial reactions;
3.Poor oral bioavailability- which makes progression to the needle much more likely.I think this reason is one which will always be touted by those disinclined to altering the legal status of this, and other, substances.
